I love social media, mass communication, and weddings. I currently grunt by as a journalism & mass communication student at Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash.
As much as I hate getting letters in the mail that kindly inform me of yet another 6.5% increase in tuition, school's generally awesome. Classes in journalism, social media, creative writing, design? Yes, please.
I think I'm in a romantic relationship with Facebook. I might spend more time with him than my fiance. I love my best friend Pinterest. (And I might see her more than my human best friend.) Twitter's more of a frienemy, but I think we're getting closer.
My other passion is weddings. The sparkle, the vintage elements, the $100 shoes, gorgeous fashion--I love it ALL. And I write a pretty cool blog about it: www.wed4lessnw.com.
I'll be using this blog to talk about social media, interactive journalism, and marketing. Specifically, I'll be using it for my interactive journalism class. You'll probably see some cool wedding marketing stuff on here too. :) (Because I just can't help myself.)
